Audio Technica

Muitas empresas do ramo estavam juntas neste evento.

The year was 2018. The Acoustic summit was taking place in Porto and I was hired by Artnovion to make a summary video of the event – see video hereIn these events I try to be very practical in the equipment I choose to take with me, both in capturing video and audio. RUN & GUN. Everything happens in an instant and we have to be prepared for any and all events in order to be able to deliver the best of what we are capturing. Camera, Gimbal, Wireless microphone preferably and earphones for listening, some that are very simple. Many industry companies were together at this event. One of them was AudioTechnica represented by some members, one of them Rodrigo, curious about photography. Without knowing it, it was one of the most interesting lectures I heard that day, as it dealt with capturing audio in sports environments, inside swimming pools (such as in the Olympic games), on ice, ice skating or even at sea for surfing. Not that the other lectures weren’t interesting, but they were starting to be too technical for my knowledge. Rodrigo talked to me about the camera and we exchanged some knowledge about photography and editing, and of course the conversation jumped to the sound. Perhaps in his head he thought, “how could it be possible to record sound with such simple earphones?” Among many tips for capturing that he had given me in those 3 days, he said that he would send me some headphones and he did so. (Thanks!!) The knowledge never hurt anyone and I left this event better able to deliver a better sound to my clients. Of course, the headphones I use help a lot to be able to be sure that what I’m capturing is in good condition. To take advantage that while we are confined at home, I took some pictures of the Headphones.
